Spring cleaning doesn't always have to be a chore. You probably didn't realize how helpful your digital camera can be to help you organize and update during the dreaded spring cleaning ritual. Below are three ways to enhance your life with your digital camera.

1. Update your picture frames!
Do you have picture frames scattered throughout your home filled with fun and important memories? A great way to freshen up a room is to change out some of your photos in those picture frames. A lot of times we put a picture into a frame and never change it. As part of spring cleaning, why not switch out some old photos with some newer ones. You will be amazed how different your room will feel as you look around and see your new memories.

2. Organize your closet!
Opening your closet and looking at boxes, garment bags and wondering what is in all of those can be a bit overwhelming. A great way to organize your closet is to take pictures of the clothing, shoes and contents, and tape them to the box. Knowing what is in all those bags and boxes will allow you to organize them in whatever way you want: by season or by item. Never again will you have to dig through every box in your closet just to find that one item you need, but couldn’t remember where you stored it.

3. Spring clean your hard drive!
If you are like most Americans you love your digital camera and take lots of photos. Also, if you are like most Americans you store all of your digital photos on your hard drive and leave them there. This spring you should back those photos up! There are many options including external websites such as Snapfish and Shutterfly, an external hard drive and printing out your favorites.
